The Coach: Why I Chose Coaching

Choosing coaching as my career was a natural and profound decision rooted in my own journey of self-discovery and a deep-seated desire to make a difference. Coaching, for me, is not just a profession; it's a calling. It’s one of the few fields where I feel free to express my authentic self without the need for external validation.

From age eleven, I became aware of a unique sensitivity—a kind of intelligence that allowed me to reflect deeply on life, relationships, and choices. At twenty-six, this matured into a mission to help others unlock their reflective and growth potential. This led to the creation of TEELCA, a leadership coaching academy dedicated to nurturing new coaches.

Coaching is a journey of connection—an opportunity to guide, support, and witness transformation. It’s dynamic, boundless, and deeply rewarding.

Why I Chose Education

Education is often misunderstood. While it forms the backbone of society and innovation, it’s been reduced to grades and certificates. My commitment is to correct these misconceptions. Education is the foundation for our thought frameworks and philosophical understanding—but without clarity, it becomes misleading.

I began researching education’s true nature at 26, with my wife—an exceptional educator and PhD candidate—also joining this mission. Our realization: the core etymology and true intent of "education" remains unexplored even at the highest levels. This discovery ignited a relentless pursuit of truth that has reshaped my personal and professional work ever since.

The Essence of Education

"Education is the identification, development, and expression of a person, place, or thing’s intrinsic potential."

This definition, born from years of study, has the power to reshape how we teach, lead, govern, and live. True education brings latent (hidden) potential into full expression. If education doesn’t help individuals recognize and cultivate their unique potential—it fails its purpose. This philosophy informs every aspect of my work.

Reframing Education in My Work

I no longer speak of education in terms of certification. I speak of it as purpose discovery. This reframing allows me to embed the true essence of education into my coaching—whether I’m working with leaders, businesses, parents, or governments. My goal: help individuals, teams, and institutions unlock their intrinsic power and manifest it in every sphere of life.
